ABOUT
Iron & Treasury is a modern grand strategy game about running a country.
Power comes from two places: Iron - the army, the navy, the air force and
the industry behind them - and Treasury - the budget, debt, credit rating
and trade that pay for it all. Lead one of 19 playable nations from 2026,
balance the books, build alliances and, when diplomacy fails, run the war
from a living war map.

THE TREASURY (ECONOMY)
- Annual budget: education, infrastructure, energy, defence and R&D lines,
taxes and tax mix, with a year-end preview of growth, inflation, deficit
  and debt-to-GDP before you commit
- Credit rating, debt and interest burden that markets react to
- Commodity markets: oil, gas, steel, copper, food, lithium, advanced chips,
rare earths, gold - plus a national stock index
- Cabinet meetings: ministers bring options (raise taxes, cut spending,
keep borrowing) with costs spelled out; 9 cabinet seats to fill
- Economy dashboard: national goals, the binding constraint on growth,
  labour, migration and external position
- Trade and supply corridors: critical routes, dependencies, blockade cost
- Industry and technology: 21-node core tree and 46-node defence tree
- War economy: mobilisation paid every week, GDP effects, blockades
- Year in review: an annual scorecard with what happened and why

KEY FEATURES (IRON AND STATECRAFT)
- 19 playable nations on a world map of 165 countries
- Deterministic simulation: every result comes from the rules, and the
game shows you why (force ratio, supply, air, terrain, modifiers)
- War map with fronts, armies, objectives, movement arrows and battle cards
- Air power: regional airspace, air defence networks, sorties, pilot schools
- 44 sea zones; assign naval task forces directly from the map
- Strategic Assessment Agency: intelligence reports that can be wrong,
with confidence labels and a second opinion
- Special forces branches with war missions, readiness and training
- Diplomacy with illustrated proposal cards; the game pauses on decisions
- Crisis scenarios: fictional interpretations of parties and regions,
escalation ladders, coalitions and ceasefire lines
- Budget, debt, credit rating and commodity markets (oil, gas, steel,
copper, food, lithium, advanced chips, rare earths, gold)
